English club Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly stepping up efforts to sign Cody Gakpo. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations with Liverpool have entered a crucial phase.

Alongside Savinho, Gakpo remains a top priority target for Spurs this August.

The deal hinges on Liverpool’s intentions and asking price, as Gakpo is not currently listed among players available for transfer. The Reds’ valuation of their forward, reportedly around €85 million, could also be a significant deterrent.
