Zinedine Zidane has taken over as head coach of the French national team following the 2026 World Cup. His first home game in charge of Les Bleus will be a Nations League fixture against Italy at the Stade de France.

According to RMC Sport, all 80,000 tickets for Zidane’s home debut with France sold out in under 24 hours.

The match is scheduled for October 2nd as part of the second round of the Nations League. Zidane will officially make his coaching debut for France earlier, on September 25th, in an away match against Turkey.
