Bayer Leverkusen Sign Napoli Defender Miguel Gutiérrez for €30 Million
Bayer Leverkusen has completed the signing of Spanish defender Miguel Gutiérrez from Napoli, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.
The source reports that the “Pharmacists” paid Napoli a transfer fee of 30 million euros for the 25-year-old player.
Gutiérrez has already agreed to a contract that will keep him at Bayer Leverkusen until the summer of 2031.
A product of Real Madrid’s youth academy, Gutiérrez previously played for Girona before moving to Napoli last summer. During his time with the Catalan club last season, he appeared in 36 matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
