Croatia’s head coach Zlatko Dalić shared his thoughts on Portugal’s performance at the World Cup during the pre-match press conference, praising their star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
“This is one of the best teams in the world. They have an excellent coach who has done a fantastic job. He proved it with Belgium, and now with Portugal. They have Ronaldo, who can score at any moment. Portugal’s main strength lies in their technical skills and ball control. They are truly very strong in this aspect, capable of creating numerous chances and always aiming to dominate possession,” reflected Dalić, who has experienced many memorable moments with Croatia.
The Round of 16 match between Portugal and Croatia will take place on July 3, with kickoff scheduled for 00:00 UTC.
