40-Year-Old El Horford Signs Two-Year $14M Deal with Golden State
Center Al Horford has declined the option to extend his contract with the Golden State Warriors and is set to sign a new two-year deal worth $14 million, according to insider Shams Charania.
The NBA champion and five-time NBA All-Star averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds last season but was unable to help Golden State reach the playoffs.
At 40 years old, Horford has become only the 13th player in NBA history to reach the milestone of 20 seasons in the league.
