Bayern has officially announced the signing of 32-year-old German center Johannes Timan on a two-year contract.

Timan returns to the EuroLeague after spending two seasons in Japan with the Gunma Crane Thunders, where he averaged 11.4 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. In his most recent EuroLeague season (2023/2024), Timan posted averages of 12.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and an efficiency rating of 16.4 over 25 minutes on the court.
