Center Mitchell Robinson has signed a three-year contract worth $47.4 million with the Boston Celtics.
Last NBA season, Robinson played for the New York Knicks, contributing to the team’s success by averaging 5.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. He is particularly valued for his defensive abilities.
The Knicks had little chance of retaining Robinson due to salary cap constraints, prompting the player to explore more advantageous offers on the free-agent market.
