Cleveland Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley has emerged as a transfer target for the Boston Celtics following their unsuccessful attempt to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to insider Chris Mannix.
Mobley fits the profile of the player the Celtics are seeking, but completing a trade will be challenging. Cleveland is currently above the second tax threshold, imposing significant financial constraints, including the need for nearly equivalent salary matching in any exchange.
Boston could potentially include guard Jaylen Brown in the deal, who was previously considered as part of a trade package for Giannis with the Milwaukee Bucks.
