The club remains engaged in discussions about various deal possibilities that include Schröder, considering whether they can restructure the roster or create additional financial flexibility. These efforts aim to aid the team in pursuing free agents Jonathan Kuminga and Payton Watson, the report states.
Dennis Schröder, a World and European champion with the German national team, averaged 10.8 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds during last NBA season. However, Cleveland believes that Kuminga and Watson could provide greater value to the squad.
