Point guard Russell Westbrook remains unfazed by his free-agent status more than a month into the NBA’s open market period.
“Honestly, I’m not thinking about it. I love playing basketball, and if I get the chance to keep doing that, then that’s great. That’s my plan,” Westbrook said during an appearance on CNN’s The Story Is with Elex Michaelson.
The 2017 MVP and nine-time NBA All-Star spent last season with the Sacramento Kings, averaging 15.2 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds over 76 games.
