Enes Kanter, a center, has declared his intention to enter the upcoming WNBA draft amid ongoing debates about transgender athletes, potentially becoming one of several players to do so.
“Listen carefully. I have discussed this matter with two former NBA players, three G League players, and three European basketball players. They are all prepared to apply for the 2027 WNBA draft if the league does not change its rules. In the G League, the salary is $45,000 per year, while the top players in the WNBA earn $1.4 million. Rules are rules,” Kanter stated.
