The leader of the Finnish national team has joined the roster of a EuroLeague Final Four participant.

Valencia has officially signed Finnish forward Elias Valtonen on a non-guaranteed contract.
If Valtonen manages to secure a spot in the squad during the training camp, the deal will extend through the end of the season.
Valtonen joined Valencia as a free agent following the conclusion of the season with Granada. In last season’s Spanish league, the forward averaged 9.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
Valtonen has been competing in Spain for the past five seasons. Prior to his time at Granada, he played for Manresa and appeared in 118 league games.
