Roman Sorkin, the forward for Maccabi, has officially signed a new four-year contract with the club.
Sorkin’s new deal will see him earn $1.7 million per season, which doubles his previous salary of $900,000 annually.
The 30-year-old posted career-best numbers last season in the EuroLeague, averaging 13.5 points and 4.2 rebounds with a shooting accuracy of 51.6%. Maccabi considers him a vital part of their long-term plans despite his age.
