Gary Payton II will remain with Golden State, signing a one-year contract worth $3.9 million.

This deal marks Payton’s seventh season with the Warriors and his 11th in the NBA.

Last season, the guard averaged 7.5 points (a career-high), 3.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over 15.6 minutes per game.

He was part of the team that won the 2022 NBA Championship. During that victorious playoff run, Gary Payton’s son contributed 6.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 17 minutes on the court.
