Jeremy Sochan Signs One-Year Deal with Portland Trail Blazers
According to insider Shams Charania, 23-year-old forward Jeremy Sochan is set to sign a one-year contract with Portland as a free agent.
Sochan was the 9th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and played for the Spurs until last season, where his role gradually diminished each year. During the season, he transferred to the Knicks, with whom he won an NBA championship.
During his time with New York, Sochan averaged 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in 6.9 minutes per game across 16 regular-season appearances.
His contribution in the playoffs was modest, averaging 2.5 points and 0.6 rebounds in just 3.3 minutes on the court as the Knicks secured the title.
