Heat Signs Tim Hardaway Jr. to One-Year, $6.5M Deal
Veteran sharpshooter Tim Hardaway Jr. is set to continue his career with the Miami Heat.
The Heat and the player have agreed on a one-year contract worth $6.5 million, according to Shams Charania.
Last season, the 34-year-old guard played for Denver, averaging 13.5 points in 27 minutes per game.
Throughout his career, Tim has also played for the Knicks, Atlanta, and Dallas. He has appeared in 893 NBA games, shooting nearly 37% from beyond the arc.
His father, Tim Hardaway, was a member of the Heat from 1996 to 2001. During his time with the franchise, he was a two-time All-Star, selected to the NBA All-First Team, and had his No. 10 jersey retired by Miami.
