American player Keenan Evans has explained his decision to return to Žalgiris, describing the club as his family.
Throughout his career, Evans has faced a series of serious injuries: in January 2023, he tore his right Achilles tendon while at Žalgiris; in May 2024, he suffered a severe knee injury; and after 533 days of recovery and a move to Olympiacos, he tore the Achilles on his left leg.
“When I say ‘Family,’ I truly mean it,” Evans wrote in an Instagram story.
Žalgiris has signed him to a two-year contract. For the first season, the guard will play on loan at London Lions.
