Forward Sandro Mamukelashvili of the Los Angeles Lakers has been included in the preliminary squad for the Georgian national team ahead of their second-round European qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup.
The roster also features Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze, Dubai forward Tornike Shengelia, as well as Marquis Reed, Rati Andronikashvili, Georgi Ochikidze, Duda Sanadze, Georgi Kobakhidze, Kakha Jinjharadze, Alexandri Fevadze, Beka Burjanadze, Georgi Korsantia, Alexander Merkviladze, Georgi Turdziladze, and Willy Ishiani.
Currently, Georgia sits third in Group I with a 3-3 record, competing alongside Ukraine in the group. On August 28, the Georgian team will host Montenegro, followed by an away match against Portugal on August 31.
