Brazilian playmaker Marcelinho Huertas has extended his contract with Tenerife.
At 43 years old, Huertas stands out as one of the most seasoned veterans competing in European leagues.
During last season’s Champions League, Huertas averaged 12 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 6 assists in just 23 minutes per game. In the Spanish league, the point guard’s stats improved to 14.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and an efficiency rating of +15.3.
Huertas has been representing Tenerife since 2019. Over his career, he has played for several clubs, including Joventut, Barcelona, the Lakers, and Baskonia.
