Following the trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Miami Heat are actively pursuing another star player. One of their primary targets is Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant, according to insider Jake Fischer.
Morant, a two-time NBA All-Star, is reportedly available for trade and does not require a significant return due to a series of controversies surrounding the Grizzlies. It is likely that Miami would need to send Andrew Wiggins and Nikola Jokić in exchange for the point guard, though the possibility of involving a third team in the deal has not been ruled out.
Additionally, Miami could emerge as a leading contender for forward LeBron James if he fails to secure a new contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, The Athletic reports.
