Oklahoma Declines Kenrich Williams Before Signing Him to $5 Million Deal
A few days ago, Oklahoma exercised their team option and terminated the contract of Kenrich Williams. The basketball player was set to earn $7.2 million for the 2026/27 season.
According to Chris Haynes, both parties have agreed on a one-year deal worth $5 million.
Williams played for the Pelicans from 2018 to 2020. Over the past six seasons, he has been a member of the Thunder.
Last season, he averaged 6.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 15 minutes per game.
