By surpassing the $600 million mark in contract earnings, Curry becomes the first player in NBA history to achieve this milestone. The closest contenders to this record include forwards Kevin Durant of the Houston Rockets with $598 million, LeBron James of the Philadelphia 76ers at $592 million, Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors with $543 million, and Paul George of the Boston Celtics who has earned $519 million.
Although Curry was eligible for a contract worth $136 million, he opted to take a discount to allow the Golden State Warriors to strengthen their roster.
