Liverpool and Manchester United, the two most decorated clubs in England, have shown interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur and Netherlands central defender Micky van de Ven, according to insider Ekrem Konur.
Sources reveal that both clubs are eager to initiate talks with the Spurs regarding a potential transfer of the defender in the near future.
However, the asking price could be steep, as Tottenham extended van de Ven’s contract until the summer of 2031. Transfermarkt currently values the Dutchman at €50 million, but Spurs are expected to demand a significantly higher fee.
So far this season, van de Ven has featured in five matches across all competitions for Tottenham, yet he has not recorded any goals or assists.
