Ukrainian point guard Maksym Shulha is set to participate in the NBA Summer League with the Golden State Warriors. He has been included in the roster for the home tournament taking place in San Francisco.
Previously, the Boston Celtics declined to guarantee Shulha a minimum contract for the 2026/27 season. It was anticipated that Maksym would compete for a two-way contract with the Celtics during the Summer League, but the team instead awarded such deals to Amari Williams and Dillon Mitchell.
Shulha has now joined Golden State and will vie for a spot on the team’s NBA roster for the upcoming season. During the Summer League, he will be teammates with forward Jaxel Lendeborg, whom the Warriors recently selected with the 11th overall pick in the draft.
