Ajax Amsterdam’s head coach, Michel, has confirmed ongoing negotiations with PSG regarding the transfer of Miki Godts.
“The talks are underway, but I’m not sure at what stage they currently stand. My focus remains on daily work, football, and collaborating with Miki. He’s training very well and is fully committed. Let’s allow the future to take its course. This is a difficult decision for both of us,” Michel stated.
It’s worth recalling that PSG’s initial bid to acquire the Ajax forward was rejected. Their first offer of €40 million did not meet Ajax’s expectations.
PSG is expected to make a second attempt today, increasing their offer to between €50 million and €52 million.
Meanwhile, Ajax aims to secure around €60 million from the sale of Godts.
