Arne Slot is widely regarded as the leading candidate to take over as head coach of the Netherlands national team. The 47-year-old recently departed from Liverpool, where he secured one Premier League title over two seasons.
In the Netherlands, Slot is viewed as one of the most promising and modern coaches in the country, capable of revitalizing the national squad. His somewhat unremarkable exit from the Premier League has not raised significant concerns. According to Voetbal International, Slot is open to the prospect of managing the Oranje. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, many experts consider the Dutchman the ideal successor to Ronald Koeman.
Ronald Koeman has been in charge of the Netherlands since 2023. Prior to that, he also managed the national team from 2018 to 2020.
