Arsenal is considering Kenan Yıldız as an alternative to Vinícius Júnior. The London club is reportedly ready to offer €100 million to secure one of Juventus’ key players.
According to La Stampa, citing Calciomercato, the Gunners have shifted their focus to the Turkish talent after their hopes of signing Vinícius suffered a major setback.
The Brazilian forward has committed his future to Real Madrid by signing a new long-term contract, forcing Arsenal to explore other attacking options.
Yıldız has shown rapid development since breaking into Juventus’ first team. His performances last season further enhanced his reputation: the 21-year-old scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 36 Serie A appearances.
His versatility is another reason behind Arsenal’s interest. While Yıldız is most comfortable playing on the left flank, he can also operate as a number ten or lead the attack when required. These attributes align with the profile that Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is reportedly seeking to significantly strengthen his forward line.
Therefore, Yıldız could emerge as an appealing alternative to Vinícius. However, persuading Juventus to let him leave will be highly challenging. The Bianconeri are not inclined to sell their valuable asset during this transfer window and view him as a crucial part of their project.
