Al-Ahli, the Saudi club, is reportedly in advanced talks to sign Artem Bondarenko, the midfielder from Shakhtar Donetsk. This information comes from journalist Walid Salih.

No further details about the negotiations have been disclosed. However, it’s worth noting that Al-Ahli has shown interest in Shakhtar players before. Just a few days ago, reports indicated that the Saudi club prioritized signing Brazilian forward Marlon Gomes from Shakhtar.

Regarding the 25-year-old Bondarenko, Ukrainian journalist Viktor Vatsko has expressed that his transfer seems quite likely. Vatsko believes that Bondarenko’s departure would open opportunities for other young talents at Shakhtar, specifically Viktor Tsukanov and Denys Smetana, to step up and prove themselves.
