Atletico Madrid has made it clear that Julian Alvarez is not for sale.
Club president Enrique Cerezo reaffirmed that the Argentine forward remains an Atletico player and that there are no negotiations underway with Barcelona.
“He is an Atletico Madrid player and will stay that way,” Cerezo stated firmly, signaling that the club has no intention of parting ways with him at the Wanda Metropolitano.
“We have not received any offers from anyone, and even if we did, we are not interested in selling. We are not ready to sell,” he added.
