Rodri‘s transfer from Manchester City to Barcelona was officially confirmed by both clubs on Tuesday. The total fee is reported to be around 70 million euros, with 60 million paid as a fixed amount and an additional 10 million euros in potential bonuses.

“The master of space and time arrives in Barcelona,” the club announced alongside a video featuring a clock adorned with their emblem, celebrating the arrival of the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner.

Meanwhile, Manchester City stated that the midfielder has joined the Spanish side pending the receipt of his international transfer certificate, marking the end of a successful seven-year spell at the Etihad Stadium. The World Cup’s best player previously played in Spain for Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.
