Bundesliga has announced the nominees for the Player of the Month award for September.

Notably, Freiburg has two players in contention: Igor Matanović and Yannik Engelhardt. They will face stiff competition from Michael Olise, who scored a hat-trick in Bayern Munich‘s dominant 7-0 victory over Union Berlin just before the international break.

Other candidates include Philipp Titz from Mainz, Miguel Gutiérrez from FC Augsburg, and Maximilian Mittelstädt of Stuttgart.
