Cristiano Ronaldo Ends Portugal Training Session Early for Media
Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo showed visible frustration towards the media during a training session in Palm Beach Gardens. During a water break, the striker gestured with his hands to the reporters, signaling that the open part of the session had ended and it was time for them to leave.
The star player is currently under intense scrutiny following Portugal’s 1-1 draw against DR Congo, a match in which he touched the ball only 25 times. Ronaldo’s goalless streak in major international tournaments has now stretched to ten games.
Defender Ruben Dias urged calm amid the criticism, insisting the fuss was overblown. “It’s just noise. The criticism isn’t aimed at one player alone; we’re all under the spotlight. We block it out and stay focused on our work,” he said.
