Omar Marmoush, the striker for Manchester City, is highly unlikely to join Tottenham Hotspur despite significant interest from the London club. This information was shared by former Everton CEO Keith Wyness in an interview with Football Insider.
According to Wyness, Tottenham would need to cover not only the transfer fee but also approximately €23.4 million in agent fees, signing bonuses, and other expenses to complete the deal. Additionally, Marmoush commands a very high salary of around €17 million per year, which presents another major obstacle to the move, the official noted.
As a result, Marmoush is expected to remain at Manchester City, where he will likely continue to face limited playing time.
