Inter Milan remains the leading contender to sign Tottenham’s key defender Christian Romero. The 28-year-old centre-back is set to leave London as he no longer sees a future for himself under Roberto De Zerbi’s management.
Despite recently strengthening their defense with the acquisition of former Manchester City star John Stones, Inter is determined to further bolster their backline. The club is actively pushing to secure the transfer of the Argentine defender.
Romero’s signature is also attracting interest from several Spanish clubs, including Barcelona.
