Donyell Malen continues to earn acclaim following his impressive start to the season with Roma. The Dutch striker was named EA Sports FC Player of the Month, securing his first monthly award this campaign.

Malen has found the net six times in five Serie A appearances. He marked his debut at the Stadio Olimpico against Fiorentina with a hat-trick, followed by a brace a week later against Lecce, and further cemented his success with a goal in Turin.

His main rival for the award was Inter forward Lautaro Martínez.
