Netherlands head coach Javi shared his thoughts ahead of today’s Group A2 Nations League clash, the third round of the competition.
“We are not afraid of Greece, but we respect them. They play well and have many talented players, especially in attack. It will be a tough match.
Regarding team news, Jan Paul van Hecke sustained an injury in the game against Serbia. He’s a fighter and tried to keep playing over the past few days, but during today’s training it became clear the pain was too severe. This is a significant loss for us.”
The upcoming fixture between Greece and Netherlands features the leaders of Group A2, with the Greeks holding a two-point advantage over the Dutch.
