Erling Haaland was reported to have supported the Carolina Hurricanes during Game 5 of the Stanley Cup
Erling Haaland, forward for Manchester City, was reported to have attended Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Vegas Golden Knights, according to BBC.
The Norway national team, currently preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, showed visible support for the Hurricanes during the NHL playoff clash.
Arriving at the game in a grey polo shirt, Haaland was later seen wearing a red-and-white Hurricanes jersey with the number nine — the same number he wears for club and country.
Carolina went on to win the game 4–2, taking a 3–2 lead in the series, much to the delight of the Norwegian players.
It is also noted that the Norway national team is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, roughly 80 miles from the Hurricanes’ home arena.
Norway will begin their World Cup campaign against Iraq in Boston on June 17.
