Harry Kane Confident in Peak Form Ahead of Play-Off Match
England captain Harry Kane has opened up about his exceptional physical condition during the World Cup. The striker rescued the birthplace of football in their match against DR Congo by scoring twice late in the game, bringing his goal tally for the season to 72. Kane admitted that he is currently experiencing the peak of his career ahead of the crucial fixtures in the tournament.
“In terms of how I feel right now, I’m in better shape than ever before going onto the pitch. No matter the situation or the chance, there’s a strong belief that I will score. Everything has come together at the right time. On major tournaments, you need a bit of luck and good form, which isn’t always easy after a tough season. But at the moment, I’m in great shape and just eager for the next match to start as soon as possible,” Kane said.
