Ipswich Town is close to securing a permanent deal for Burnley’s midfielder Florentino Luis. The transfer fee is reported to be around £16 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has already been reached between the parties.

Hull City had been actively negotiating a loan move for the 26-year-old player but have since withdrawn from the race.

Florentino could prove to be a key addition to Ipswich’s midfield as the club strengthens its squad ahead of the upcoming season.
