Italy Splits Squad Ahead of Nations League Match Against France
Italy will hold their final training session at Coverciano today before flying to Paris for their UEFA Nations League clash against the French national team. Following the same approach used for the trip to Bursa and to ensure optimal preparation for the subsequent match against Turkey in Bologna, head coach Roberto Mancini has decided to take a reduced squad to France, according to the Italian Football Federation.
Nine players will remain at the training base to follow individual training programs under the supervision of the coaching staff. This group includes Onest Ahanor, Nicolo Cambiaghi, Diego Coppola, Daniele Ghilardi, Samuele Inazio, Eddy Cuadio, Rolando Mandragora, Massimo Pessina, and Alessandro Romano. Their daytime session will be conducted separately from the main squad, which is preparing to depart for the Stade de France.
