József Szabó, a veteran of Dynamo Kyiv and a devoted supporter of the club, has reluctantly issued a pessimistic prediction ahead of the Conference League match against Karabakh.
“Our team will lose. As disappointing as it is, I am almost certain of it. Karabakh is objectively the better side. They are playing at home in Baku. The first leg showed that Karabakh approached the game with the return match in mind. They controlled the ball well. Dynamo today is not the kind of team that can pull themselves together at the crucial moment and beat any opponent. They simply don’t have that,” Szabó lamented.
The two teams will face off tomorrow at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, with kickoff scheduled for 16:00 UTC. In the first round, Dynamo secured a 1-0 victory.
