After the conclusion of the second round of the Ukrainian Premier League, experts voted to determine the best player of the round. A panel of 40 media representatives cast their votes, ultimately awarding the top honor to Panamanian midfielder Giovanni Herbert of Kryvbas.
Herbert emerged as one of the standout performers in Kryvbas’s clash against Zorya, where his team showed resilience to overturn a halftime deficit and secure a 3-1 victory. He contributed a goal and also struck a memorable shot that rattled the crossbar.
Close behind him were Obolon goalkeeper Kirill Barantsov, who impressed in his Ukrainian Premier League debut by helping his side withstand pressure from Bukovyna, and Karpaty defender Vladyslav Baboglo, who scored against LNZ to mark his second consecutive match with a goal.
Rounding out the top five were two more Karpaty players: goalkeeper Denys Marchenko and midfielder Felipe.
