Insider Fabrizio Romano has revealed new details regarding Juventus’ interest in Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin. Previously, it was reported that the Turin club was deciding between Trubin and Dzion Suzuki from Parma.
“Trubin’s name was put forward to Juventus a couple of weeks ago. The club has conducted its evaluations, just as it has done for Atubolu from Freiburg and several other goalkeepers who were proposed.
Obviously, when a top club like Juventus is searching for a goalkeeper, they receive numerous options – which is completely normal. However, there have been no updates from Juventus for several weeks, so this matter has cooled down for now. If Juventus ends up rejecting Suzuki and choosing Trubin, we should see developments in the coming days,” Romano stated confidently.
It is also worth noting that Anatoliy Trubin missed Benfica’s Portuguese league match yesterday.
