Bayern Munich has started the new season unbeaten. Although they dropped points in their second Bundesliga round away match against Schalke, the quality of the Munich side’s performances is steadily improving with each game. They remain strong favorites to claim domestic trophies and are among the leading contenders for the UEFA Champions League title.
One of the key attacking figures is Michael Olise. The French winger is regarded as one of the best wide players in Europe. This season, he has elevated his game to a new level, showcasing impressive goal-scoring form early on—netting eight goals across all competitions within the first six weeks of the campaign.
His strike partner Harry Kane has praised Olise, highlighting that he possesses the right mentality to become one of the world’s top players.
“He has started the season incredibly well. I already thought he was a fantastic player last year. He performed excellently at the World Cup and has continued that form. I’m confident that with his age and mindset, he will keep improving. Since the beginning of the season, he has raised his game to a whole new level,” Kane said.
It’s worth recalling that last season Olise scored 22 goals and provided 31 assists across all competitions for Bayern. He was instrumental in helping the Munich club retain their Bundesliga title and secure the DFB-Pokal. The French winger also delivered strong performances in the Champions League, where Bayern fell just short of the final, losing in the semifinals to the eventual champions Paris Saint-Germain.
