Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the captain of the Georgia national team, reflected on the goalless draw against Ukraine in the UEFA Nations League, acknowledging the strength of their opponents.

“We performed well in the first half. We had the upper hand and should have scored. In the second half, the opposition adjusted their tactics. They have a very strong team—one of the best in Europe. I view the match positively, although it would have been better to win. We will prepare for the next game,” Kvaratskhelia told CrystalSport.

Georgia’s next fixture is an away match against Hungary. On the same day, October 2, Ukraine will face Northern Ireland. Currently, these two teams lead Group B2 in the UEFA Nations League.
