Leeds United continue to pursue a loan deal for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, despite earlier reports suggesting that the London club had ruled out the Yorkshire side as an option for the Ukrainian. This information comes from The Athletic.
According to the source, Leeds remain interested in the 25-year-old and are hopeful of securing his services on loan. However, the club’s confidence is waning as it appears Chelsea may no longer be willing to engage in ongoing negotiations.
The two clubs held discussions over the terms of the potential loan this week. Nevertheless, Leeds are unwilling to accept unfavorable conditions and are prepared to walk away from the deal if Chelsea‘s demands exceed the club’s predetermined limits.
Inside sources at Leeds reveal that Mudryk himself is eager to join the Yorkshire club. The Ukrainian is keen to continue his career in the Premier League and favors a move to Leeds United. On the other hand, Chelsea appear more inclined to loan him to Strasbourg, a club also owned by BlueCo. However, Mudryk is not considering that option.
