Levski Sofia and AEK Athens played out a goalless draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifying playoff. The match in Sofia ended 0-0.

Both hosts and visitors approached the game cautiously, resulting in a physical contest marked by numerous fouls. The most dangerous chance fell to the visitors when Luka Jović struck the crossbar. In the second half, substitutions by AEK, including the introduction of Alexander Zubkov, failed to shift the momentum. Neither side managed to break the deadlock, leaving the tie open for the return leg in Greece.
