Milan Completes Record €200 Million Summer Spending Spree
Italian club AC Milan underwent a major squad overhaul this summer, investing a record nearly €200 million. The Rossoneri made significant expenditures by securing Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain for €70 million, Mario Hila from Lazio for €30 million, and Diego Moreira from Strasbourg for €45 million.
This flurry of activity was made possible by a revamped management structure led by owner Jerry Cardinale and head coach Ruben Amorim, alongside the club’s improved financial stability. Milan has now lifted UEFA Financial Fair Play sanctions and has posted profits for three consecutive years, enabling the club to acquire star players without needing to sell key figures.
