Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique expressed dissatisfaction with the organizers’ decision favoring Aston Villa ahead of the UEFA Super Cup match.
Although PSG are designated as the nominal home team, UEFA assigned the home dressing room to Aston Villa for this game.
According to The Telegraph, both Luis Enrique and the club’s management are unhappy with the match arrangements.
On Monday, PSG lodged a complaint with UEFA, insisting that their dressing room should be equal in size to that of their opponents.
Aston Villa’s dressing room is larger, and after the complaint that PSG’s room at the Red Bull Arena was too small, the French club was offered an additional room.
Whether the size will make a difference remains to be seen. Kickoff for the UEFA Super Cup is scheduled for 19:00 UTC.
