Manuel Neuer, the 40-year-old goalkeeper for Bayern Munich, has no plans to retire next summer. Ahead of the 2026/27 season, he was asked the usual question about whether this would be his final campaign.

“I’m just going to let things take their course and then see what happens. I’ll start the season focused on achieving the most important goals. After that, we’ll see,” the legendary goalkeeper responded.

This upcoming season will mark Neuer’s 22nd year in his club career.

Earlier this year, he represented Germany at the 2026 World Cup.
